Heinlen

Graveside services for Russell M. Heinlen Jr., 60, of Bellville, were held Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2008 at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery, Bellville, with the Rev. Dale Leland, officiating. Interment was in Pilgrims Rest Cemetery.   

Russell was born on April 25, 1948 in Delaware, Ohio to Russell M. Heinlen, Sr. and Nellie (Sidenstricker) Heinlen.

He was raised in Delaware, Ohio and attended school there.

He served in the Navy during the Vietnam War.

Russell was united in marriage to Karen Toman on June 1, 1985 in Alvin, Texas.  He was employed as a truck driver hauling freight. 

Russell passed away on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2008 in Katy.

Russell is survived by his wife, Karen Heinlen of Bellville; sister, Alice Heinlen of North Port, Fla.; niece, Jackie Colflesh of Delaware, Ohio; nephews, Jay Marshall of Marshall, Texas and Jerry Marshall of Delaware, Ohio; along with many close friends and relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Bellville Hospital Foundation, P. O. Box 977, Bellville, TX 77418.

Services under the direction of Knesek Bros. Funeral Chapel in Bellville.
