Juergens
Conrad Juergens Jr., was born August 13, 1930, in Industry, Texas to parents Conrad and Carrie Wassermann Juergens. He grew up in Rock House and Industry attending school in Rock House and graduating from Fayetteville High School.
Conrad was united in marriage with Carol S. Maresh on May 28, 1960 at the Nelsonville Brethren Church in Nelsonville, Texas. They made their home in Cat Spring and most recently Sealy.
A farmer and rancher, Conrad was a Past Director of the Austin County Cattleman’s Association, a member of the Austin County Game and Fish Association, Millheim Harmonie Hall and Millheim Sons of Hermann. He enjoyed his cattle, horses and loved to go dancing.
He passed away Sunday, July 27, 2008, in Sealy at the age of 77. He is survived by his WIFE OF OVER 48 YEARS: Susie Juergens of Sealy; CHILDREN: Mitchell Dean Juergens and his wife, Cricket, of Sealy, Rexanne Singh and her husband, Sanjay, of Friendswood, Dwayne Alan Juergens and his wife, Karen, of Cat Spring; GRANDDAUGHTERS: Katy and Alyssa Singh; SISTERS: Joann Forester and her husband, Raymond, of New Ulm, Mable Knipple and her husband, F.C. “Bubba”, also of New Ulm; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial Service: 11 a.m., Thursday, July 31, 2008. Schmidt Funeral Home Chapel in Bellville with the Rev. Michael Groseclose, officiating.
