Funeral services for Mary Dymphna Kalinec, 30, were held on Saturday, July 5, 2008, 1:00 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Sealy with Rev. Eric
Pitre celebrating the funeral mass and rite of committal. Interment was at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery. Pallbearers were Kenneth Shaffer, James Vacek,
Matthew Woods, Wade King, Don Mullins and Joshua King.
Mary Dymphna Kalinec was born to parents Eugene E. Kalinec and Joyce Vacek Kalinec in Weimar, Texas. She was a 1996 graduate of Sealy High School. Mary was a long
time resident of Sealy, and she passed away on July 1, 2008. She was a Massage Therapist and had also worked at Tony_s Restaurant. Mary was loved by family and
friends because of her caring ways. She never met a stranger and would go out of her way to help others. Mary was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic
Church in Sealy.
Survivors include her mother, Joyce Kalinec of Sealy, sisters and their husbands, Teresa and Albert Remarez, Janice and Richard Resendez, Odilia and Maurice
Murshed, Michelle and Wade King all of Sealy and Annette and Matthew Woods of Katy, brothers, Mark Kalinec of Weimar, Jude Kalinec, Paul Kalinec and wife Michelle
Kalinec and John Kalinec all of Sealy and extended family, Pat and Daniel Machala of Sealy, other relatives and friends. Mary was preceded in death by her father
Eugene E. Kalinec and brother, Eugene J. Kalinec.
