McGuire
Mattie Frances Thomas McGuire, born May 20, 1914, she was the daughter of
the late Edward and Alice Sexton Thomas.
Faye grew up and attended schools in Louisana, New Ulm and Brookshire.
Methodist by faith, Faye married James Lloyd McGuire in Brookshire.
She is survived by her brothers-in-law: Seth Gross of Caldwell and John
D'Angelo of New Jersey; sisters-in-law Janet McGuire of New Ulm. Also,
surviving Faye are numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters and brother.
She enjoyed gardening, reading, traveling and cooking. Faye never met a
stranger.
She passed away Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2008, at the age of 93 at her home in New
Ulm.
Schmidt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
