Connie Mudd Morlock, 59, died in her home Friday, Jan. 11, 2008, surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous battle against cancer. She was born in Gonzales where she will be laid to rest. She loved life, good books, a good laugh, bowling, crafts, and antiquing. She loved her family and friends. We are full with memories of the anchor of our family. Had we been able to hand pick a mother we would have chosen her. God was smiling the day he gave us our mom, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She was office manager for Knesek Funeral Chapels. Connie is preceded in death by her parents Tommy and Eleanora Warnke Mudd. She is survived by her loving sons Charlie Morlock, daughter-in-law, Brandy Morlock, Craig Morlock, daughter-in-law, Crystal Morlock, sister and brother-in-law Tommie and Jim Knesek, brother and sister-in-law Lewis and Tammy Mudd, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Mike and Robin Morlock, nephews Austin and Shane and his wife Deanna, niece Mandi, her husband Jimmy, grandnieces Meagan, Lauren, Emily, Jordan, grandnephew Camden, and other special family members and friends.
