Pavelka
Jean Ray Pavelka, age 79, died Wednesday, March 26, 2008 in Houston, Texas.
He was born to J. J. and Norma Pavelka on March 24, 1929 in Eagle Lake, Texas. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Joyce Pavelka of Houston, Texas, children Vicki and David Christianson of Bellville, Texas, Carolyn Kelley of Houston, and Jay and Charmane Pavelka of Josephine, Texas, grandchildren Mikalynn and Jeff Rawlins of Acworth, Georgia, and Kirstyn and Lauren Kelley of Houston. He is also survived by his great-granddaughter Allyson Grace Rawlins and several cousins.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday at Waltrip Funeral Directors, 1415 Campbell Road, Houston, TX 77055 (713) 465-2525. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, March 30, 2008 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Houston. Graveside services will follow at 4 pm Sunday in Pilgrim’s Rest Cemetery, Bellville, Texas.
