Racz

Francis “Frank” Clayton Racz, age 52, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 3, 2008, at home in Richmond, Texas, following a valiant fight with cancer.

Frank was born June 21, 1956 to Francis Racz and Geraldine Watters Racz, in Wooster, Ohio.

A peace officer for 23 years, he received his peace officer licenses in Polk County, Fla. and continued his career in several counties in Texas. His passions were hunting and fishing. Frank was preceded in death by his father, Francis; and his brother, Joe.

Francis is survived by his wife Amy; his three children, Angela, Jessica, and David of Bellville; and three stepchildren, Ryan, Michael, and Justin.  He is also survived by his mother, Geraldine; brother and sister-in-law, Don and Carol Racz; his sister and brother-in-law, Debra and Ed Zimmerman; and five nephews.

A memorial service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 7, 2008, at First Presbyterian Church of Sugar Land, 502 Eldridge Road, in Sugar Land, where the Rev. Kevin S. Keaton, will officiate.

A reception will immediately follow in the adjacent fellowship hall.
