Reznicek

Funeral services for Johnnie Reznicek, Sr., 59, of Wallis were held Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2008 at 2 p.m. from Knesek and Sons Funeral Home in Wallis with the Rev. Russell Davis officiating.

Interment was in the Hartsville  Cemetery. Pallbearers were Daniel Jurecek, Jerome Kristek, Joe Supak, Bubba Brzozowski, Matthew Reznicek and Adam Kocian. Honorary Pallbearers were Jim Riggs and Jason Reber. 

Johnnie was Born in East Bernard to parents, Joseph and Alma Vazansky Reznicek, raised in Wallis and graduated from Wallis High School. Johnnie served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War.

He worked in Construction as a Heavy Equiptment operator. He died Dec. 14, 2008 in Houston.

Survivors: sons, Johnnie Reznicek, Jr of Wallis, Charles Reznicek and wife Ashley of Fulshear, Steven Reznicek of Katy, sisters, Hattie Heinrich and husband Axel of Houston, Mary Hicks of Austin, Alma Zalesak and husband Charlie of Wallis, Patricia Knight of Waxahachie, Sophie Kocian and husband Clarence of Boling, Bernadette Reznicek of Wallis, brothers, Paul Reznicek of Thailand, Frank Reznicek and wife Bonnie of Wallis, grandchildren, Faith Renee Reznicek, Dilyn Joseph Reznicek and Kaylum Brzozowski. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Alma Reznicek and brother, Joseph Reznicek, Jr. 

Funeral Services were held under the direction of Knesek and Sons Funeral Home in Wallis.
