 Richardson
Jess Willard Richardson, Jr., born Sept. 16, 1941, in Charleston, W. Va.,
the son of Jess Willard, Sr. and Martha Elizabeth Davis Richardson.
He graduated from Ball High School in Galveston in 1959, Jess was a Lance
Corporal in the United States Marine Corp, and was honorably discharged in
September, 1966.
A Lutheran by faith, Jess was united in marriage to Catherine M. Krueger in
Bellaire, Texas on Dec. 14, 1973. He was employed as a transportation
analyst for Conoco Oil Company.
He was a dedicated and loving husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed
hunting and attending gun shows and he also loved telling tall tales.
Jess passed away Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2008, at the age of 66, in a Katy
Hospital.
He is survived by his loving wife of over 34 years Catherine Krueger
Richardson; daughter Michelle Richardson and family; sons Brian Richardson
and family and John Richardson and family. Also surviving Jess is his twin
brother Robert Davis Richardson and numerous cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial Service was 1 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 26, 2008 at Schmidt Funeral Home
Chapel in Bellville with Chaplain Jerry M. Thomas, officiating.
In lieu of usual remembrances, friends who wish may make memorial gifts to
the: Charity of choice in memory of Jess Richardson.
  Funeral arrangements under the direction of Schmidt Funeral Home in
Bellville.
