Funeral services for Martha Schneider, 88, were held Thursday, July 10, 2008 at 10 a.m. from the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Sealy with the Rev. Eric Pitre celebrating the Funeral Mass and Rite of Committal. Interment was at Immaculate Conception Cemetery. Pallbearers for the service were Clint Gonzales, Clayton Hillegeist, Dustin, Matthew, Ted, Tommie and Darren Schneider.
Mrs. Schneider passed away on July 8, 2008 in Sealy.
Martha Antionette Haczynski was born to parents Steve and Sophie Gajewski Haczynski in Frydek. Martha was raised in Frydek and attended school there. She married Charlie C. Schneider on Oct. 15, 1940 and was a homemaker all her life, she also worked outside the home at Tom's Dairy Barn, Waak's Meat Market, helped with the Dairy Farm and was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Sealy.
Survivors include her daughters, Virginia Hillegeist and husband John, Gloria Geer and Katherine Gonzales all of Houston, sons and daughters-in-law, Edward and Judy Schneider of East Bernard, Donnie and Debbie Schneider of Sealy and Kenneth and Dian Schneider of Sealy, brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Lillian Haczynski of Katy, 14 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Steve and Sophie Haczynski, husband Charlie C. Schneider, sons, Charles R. and Ronnie Schneider, sisters, Sophie Noviskie and Tekla Zapalac, brother Paul Haczynski.
Funeral services held under the direction of Knesek Brothers Funeral Chapel, 768 Fourth St., Sealy.
