Funeral Services for Bernice B. Supak, 81, of San Felipe were  held Friday, June 6, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. from Knesek Bros. Highway 36 Chapel in Sealy with the Rev. John Morris officiating.
Interment followed in the San Felipe Cemetery in San Felipe. Serving as pallbearers were Daniel Supak, Douglas Supak, Timothy Weems, Olin Weems, II, Brandon Supak, Dustin Supak, Kelly Schrader and Kristopher Schrader. Honorary pallbearers were Edie Resendez, Lucy Ness, Crystal Supak, Rebecca Weems, William Supak, Robert Supak and Ryan Supak.
Bernice was born the daughter of Marcus and Eva (Moeckel) Guthmann in Frelsburg. She was raised in Frelsburg and attended school in Frelsburg and Columbus.
On Sept. 18, 1947 the former Miss Bernice Guthmann was joined in marriage to Mr. Alfred J. Supak with a ceremony held in Columbus. She was of Lutheran faith and was a lifelong homemaker.
Bernice Supak passed away Monday, June 3, 2008 in Katy.
She is survived by her daughters, Betty Jean Weems and husband Olin of Wallis, Elizabeth Faye Schrader and husband Glen of Bellville, sons, A.J. "Billy" Supak and wife Sharyn of Bellville, Kenneth R. Supak and wife Julie of Bellville, Johnnie W. Supak of San Felipe, brothers, Walter Guthmann, Sr. of Columbus, Marcus Guthmann, Jr. and wife Tiny of Allyton, Ivy L. Guthmann and wife Doris of Columbus, 15 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter, numerous nieces and nephews and many dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marcus and Eva Guthmann, husband Alfred J. Supak, brother, Emil Guthmann and sister, Lola Guthmann.
