Waltrip

James McMurry Waltrip, 64, of Houston & Bellville, died Monday, May 12, 2008 in Houston. Services were conducted  Friday, May 16, 2008 at Knesek Bros. Funeral Chapel in Bellville. Burial was in National Cemetery in Nelsonville.
Jim was born in Anthony, TX, the son of Jack and Louise (McMurry) Waltrip. He graduated from the University of Houston with a degree in Business Administration served in the Army obtaining the rank of First Lieutenant.
Jim is survived by his wife, Joyce Waltrip of Houston, sons and daughter-in-law, Drs. Todd and Alex Waltrip of Longview, TX, Scott Waltrip of Montgomery, TX, grandson, Will Sterrett Waltrip of Longview, sister, Mary Frances Liwelyn of Austin, Tx, and brother, Jack Waltrip and wife, Wanda, of Baton Rouge, LA.
He  was preceded in death by his first wife, Sandra Waltrip, and parents, Jack and Louise Waltrip.
