Mary Louise Ables passed away on March 21, 2012 in Bellville.

She was born April 4, 1922, to Jesse and Mary Elizabeth Nunnellee in Beeville, Texas. 

She was a member of West End Baptist Church in Industry.  She worked for Spring Branch School District and West Side Reporter in Houston.  She was a life member of Texas State and National P.T.A.

She was married to Elmer �Red� V. Ables on April 6, 1940 in Austin.  

She is survived by two children, Sandra Lynn (David) Turnage and Robert Vernon (Deborah) Ables of Bellville; five grandchildren Mike and Chris Ables of Bellville, Kenneth Turnage of Austin and Danny Turnage of Houston Sandra Dee (Scott) McFadyen of The Woodlands; 12 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Jesse and Mary Elizabeth Nunnellee, husband Elmer �Red� V. Albes, sisters Frances Josephine Odom and Myrtle Irene Tinsley.

Funeral services were Saturday, March 24, 2012, at 3 p.m. at West End Baptist Church in Industry with Rev. Dennis Keen officiating. Interment was in Pilgrims Rest Cemetery in Industry.  Family received friends on Friday, March 23, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. at Knesek Bros. Funeral Chapel, 842 East Main, Bellville.
