Sherry Ann Barbisch of Houston and Bellville, went to be with her Lord on the 31st of January 2012.
She is preceded in death by her husband, the late Andy Barbisch; and her father, Dreabon Copeland.
She is survived by her three sons, Bart, and his wife, Angela, and their two children, Amanda and Zach, Brett,
and his wife, Tammy, and their five children, Dillon, Avery, Braden, Casey and Keaton, and Brad and his wife, Lisa, and their three children, Lucy, Linus, and
Levi; her mother, Shirley Mae Copeland; siblings, Becky Dunn, Rhonda and her husband, Frank Gracely, Pam and her husband, Ray McGill, Jeff
Copeland and his wife, Susanne; sister-in-law, Julie and her husband, Robert Puckett; and her brother-in-law Bill Barbisch. She is also survived by her loving
friend, Jay Guillory and devoted friend, Nora Medina.
Sherry spent her life as a loving mother. She and her husband lived in Bellville, and loved being part of the
small social hub of the community. They owned and ran an antique store and restaurant.
She forever loved shopping, antiquing, and hosting parties. After her husband�s passing, she found
comfort in her new church family at Second Baptist Church in Houston, who became very dear to her.
Her faith in God, her zeal for life, and love for family will forever be a testament to her character and a
lasting legacy.
Friends were cordially invited to a visitation with the family from six until eight o�clock in the evening
on Friday, the 3rd of February, in the Drawing Room of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston.
The funeral service was conducted at ten o�clock in the morning on Saturday, the 4th of February, in the
Jasek Chapel of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston.
The family will gather for a private graveside service at a later time in Bellville, Texas.
