Bellville Times Raymond �Booger� Cloyd, 86, of Bellville, Texas passed on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 in Bellville. Raymond was born on Oct. 20, 1925 in Cochran to Raymond Cloyd and Maude Barrett Cloyd. He married Violet Ferguson on Nov. 27. 1953 in Hempstead. He served with pride in the Untied Stares Army during World War II and the Korean War obtaining the rank of Corporal. Raymond is survived by his son David Cloyd and his wife Joyce of Bellville. A grandson Preston Cloyd of Bellville and a sister Bessie Lunsford of Bellville. He was predeceased by his wife in 2007, and daughters Connie and Terry Cloyd, a son Kenneth Cloyd, brothers Sam, Cecil, and James, and sisters Aline and Sybil. Visitation was held on Saturday, June 16, 2012 from 9 until 10:30 a.m. at the Knesek Bros Funeral Chapel, 842 E. Main, Bellville. A graveside service was conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 16, 2012 at the Buckhorn Cemetery in Buckhorn with Rev. Michael Groseclose officiating. Memorial may be made to Meals on Wheels, 510 Second Street, Sealy, Texas 77474.
