Homegoing Celebration Honoring the Life of Earnest Cooper, Sr. were Wednesday, Sept. 19,2012 at 11 a.m. at Bethel Baptist Church, Rev. C.B. Frazier, Pastor and Rev. Antone Cooper Officiator under the direction of Austin County Funeral Home.

Earnest was born to Lee Howard and Willie Daisy Cooper in New Ulm on July 4 , 1946.

He traveled hom to join his ancestors in Glory Sept. 14, 2012.

The last born of eight children, Earnest enjoyed a lifetime filled with family, friends and love. He was a man that enjoyed making things beautiful. He mastered the art of landscaping and making people laugh. He was always read with a smile and a� funny� story.

Earnest is preceded in death by his mother,father and brother Leroy �Shorty� Cooper.

His Legacy will be passed on to his only son, Earnes Cooper, Jr. of Salt Lake City, Utah; sisters Florence Jackson, Conroe, Willie Ann Cooper and Shirley Cooper both of Houston; brothers Rev. Antone Cooper, Sealy, Rev. Johnnie Cooper, Bellville and Tommie�Tomcat� Cooper of Sealy, and many other relatives and friends.
