VIOLA MARIE ALBRECHT HOLD
Bellville Times Viola Marie Hold, 92, of Kenney, passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2012, in Bellville, Texas. Viola Albrecht Hold was born February 17, 1920 to Rudolph and Clara Glaeser Albrecht. She was born in the Travis Community and attended the Travis Public School. She was baptized June 6, 1920 by Reverend H. Poehlmann and confirmed March 25, 1934 by Reverend M.C. Hermann. She was united in marriage to Ervin Hold on January 24, 1942 at St. James Lutheran Church in New Wehdem by Reverend H.T. Flachmier. A Lutheran by faith she was a lifelong member of this church. Beginning as a child, Viola was always a hard worker, helping pick cotton and corn on the family farm. Later, she worked part-time at Cameron�s Store in Bellville. Viola loved doing anything outside, especially gardening, even selling vegetables on Saturday mornings in Bellville. She was preceded in death by her parents Rudolph and Clara Albrecht, husband Ervin, sister Elda Hahn and brother in law Vernon Hahn. She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Wayne and Diana Hold of Kenney, grandchildren Justin Hold and fianc� Eryn Green of Kenney and Kimberly Wade and husband Chris of Brenham, niece Carol Bosse of Austin, nephew Don R. (Adrienne) Bosse of Bellville Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at St. James Lutheran Church in New Wehdem with Rev. Jill Vivroux officiating. Burial will follow in the St. James Cemetery in New Wehdem. Friends may call at Knesek Brothers Funeral Chapel in Bellville from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, February 27, 2012. Pall bearers will be Justin Hold, Chris Wade, Dwayne Gajewski, Patrick Gajewski, Stewart Stanuell III and Dr. Don R. Bosse.
