Bellville Times Our beloved mother, Margaret Cowen Kenney of Bellville, Texas, passed away on November 23, 2012 at the age of 79 years. Margaret was born on April 18, 1933 and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania but lived most of her adult life in Hollywood, Florida, spending her most recent years in Bellville, Texas with her two daughters and their families. Margaret graduated with a bachelor�s degree in education from Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pa. and a Master�s degree from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida. She taught elementary school in South Florida and was hailed as one of the very best teachers by all who knew her. She touched the lives of so many. She was the life of family gatherings, witty and always lovable. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother and grandmother. No family member -- or friend who really knew her -- especially the children and grandchildren, will ever forget her creativity, ingenuity and thoughtfulness when it came to giving gifts. They were always unique and special -- as was she. Margaret is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Allan Diamond of Houston, Texas, her daughter Kim Lemaire of Bellville, Texas; her three beautiful grandchildren, Christina, Jenna and Carly; her adoring brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Marie Cowen of Newtown, Pa; her wonderful sister-in-law, Dixie Cowen of Kiawah, S.C. and her many loving nieces and nephews. We will miss and remember her in our hearts forever as she leaves us for the eternal life joining her beloved late husband, Tom Kenney. It was Margaret�s wish to be cremated and a private memorial service will be held at a later date.
