Krause

Milton James Krause of Cat Spring died Nov. 4, 2012 in Lufkin, Texas.

He was born on Jan. 20, 1933 in the Bernardo community in Colorado County to parents Franklin and Antonie Dittmar Krause.

Milton received his education in the Bernardo Independent School District in Colorado County and graduated from Bellville High School in 1951.

He retired from U.S. Steel as a maintenance engineer.

He was a member of St. Roch Catholic Church in Mentz.

On Dec. 31, 1987 he married Carol Wilkening, who preceded him in death on Sept. 4, 2011.

Also preceding him in death were his parents; brother Franklin A. Krause and daughter Charlotte Martin.

He is survived by his daughter Danita Tedder and David of Crockett; his son Stacy of Round Rock; 3 grandsons; 5 great grandchildren; his sister Anita Uhlrig; 1 nephew; 1 niece and 3 great nephews.

Services were conducted at 11 a.m. Nov. 7 at St. Roch Church with burial in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers were Claude Miles, Alan Uhlrig, Jese Aquinaga, Trevor Uhlrig, Laran Navarro and Michael Trevino.

Honorary pallbearers were Trent Uhlrig, Joe Aquinaga and Ron Derrick.
