Eugenia Candy Mitchell-Schmitz, 58 of Bellville,  died Wednesday April 11, 2012.

She is survived by her husband Don, son Shane Lewis and wife Melynda, her Mother Louise Collins and sister Cecile Ziesel.

Candy was a lover of all animals and a beautiful person. She helped so many people over many years.

She battled lung cancer for over a year and fought for her life all the way to the end. She will be remembered for being a kind considerate person and a friend to all that knew her.

She was in the electronics industry for about 30 years and retired 2 years ago to care for her mother. She was a great mother and wife and will be missed by everyone that knew her. She is at peace in heaven and is sitting at the rainbow bridge with all the lost departed animals.

Memorial services will be Saturday, April 14, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Knesek Bros. Funeral Chapel  with Richard Kirkland officiating.

In lieu of flowers, please give to the ASPCA, The Humane Society or any of the shelters that so badly need our help.
