Minnerva (Rudloff) Muery, 87, passed away on Jan. 16, 2012 at Memorial Hermann in Houston.  

Minnerva was born Jan. 12, 1925 to Paul and Minnie (Braesicke) Rudloff in Bellville.

She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, baptized Sept. 26, 1926 and confirmed April 2, 1939.

She graduated from Bellville High School in 1942. She also attended Massey Business School in Houston. She was employed in the Tax Collector�s Office in Bellville and retired in 1978.

On Nov. 22, 1947, she was married to Otto James Muery.

She was a member of Ladies Auxiliary Post #6522 to the V.F.W.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Brenda Lee Muery, brothers Harold and wife Raye, Eugene and wife Esther, and brother-in-law Cary Burnley.

Survivors include daughter Pamela and husband Lee Charles Goebel of Cat Spring; son Ronald J. Muery of Bellville; sister Paula Burnley of Brenham; sister-in-law Dolores Loesch; grandsons Jordan Paul Goebel and wife Krista, Blair Curtis Goebel and wife Tammy, and Patrick Lee Goebel and wife Mandi; and great granddaughter Avery Goebel; step great granddaughters Brook and Jordan; also numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Thursday, Jan. 19, 2012, at 10 a.m. at Knesek Bros. Funeral Chapel, 842 East Main, Bellville.  Family received friends Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2012, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Knesek Bros. Funeral Chapel.  Interment was in Oak Knoll Cemetery. Pallbearers were Blair Curtis Goebel, Jordan Paul Goebel, Bradley Schwarz, William Krueger, Cary L. Burnley II and Jerry Wayne Rudloff.

Honorary pallbearers were were Patrick Lee Goebel, Wayne Thompson, Paul Burgess, Carrell James Newman and Maurice Newman.

Memorials can be made to Bellville General Hospital.
