Bellville Times

Flora Lee Rosner, 86, left us unexpectedly on May 19, 2012 when she slipped into a coma following an asthma attack.  Nearly one month later, on June 18, 2012, she joined the Lord in heaven.

Flora was born in the rural town of Buckhorn, near Bellville, but she moved to Houston when she was 17-years-old to pursue big-city job opportunities. She soon met Louis, her late husband.  They were happily married for 56 years until he died in 2002.

Flora operated a beauty shop at her home for many years before she retired.  She lived a simple life, spending much of her time at home �piddling around� as she liked to say.  She loved to plant flowers and was known for the beautiful azaleas that lined her front yard.

Parents Joe and Mary Kaliszewski, husband Louis Rosner, sister Clara Biskup and brother Joe Kaliszewski, Jr. preceded Flora in death.

Flora leaves behind her brother, David Kaliszewski, and his wife Velma; her nephews Rodney Kaliszewski, Gary Biskup, Kevin Scott Kaliszewski and Greg Kaliszewski; her nieces Tracy Isaacks and Jean Krenek; her great nieces Mikinzi Kaliszewski and Krystle Gutierrez; as well as Krystle�s husband Kris, and their two children Katelyn and Kristopher.

Flora�s family welcomes you to join them in honoring Flora�s life Friday, June 22, 2012 during the visitation at 11 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 1 p.m. at Brenham Memorial Chapel with Rev. Bob Craig officiating.  Burial will follow in Prairie Lea Cemetery.
