Glorine Louise Drymalla Venghaus, 72, of Columbus, Texas passed away on Sept. 6, 2012 in Columbus.

She was born on June 8, 1940 to Urban and Meta (Herm) Drymalla in Sealy. Glorine worked as a Corporate Secretary for Southwestern Bell.

On Aug. 22, 1959 she married Claude Venghaus.

She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Columbus and the Altar Society of the church.

Glorine is survived by her husband, Claude M. Venghaus of Columbus; sons, Steven D. Venghaus and Linda of Katy, Bryon S. Venghaus and wife Tonna of Bellville; sister, Ruby Lois Lambert and husband Charles of Houston; grandchildren, Alyson, Courtney and Dillan Venghaus.

She was preceded in death by father, Urban John Drymalla, and mother, Meta Gertrude Drymalla.

Funeral services were held on Monday, Sept. 10, 2012, at 2 p.m. at Henneke Funeral Home, Columbus with Fr. Augustine N. Asante.

Burial took place in the St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery, Columbus, Texas. Pallbearers were Kenneth Lambert, Gary Lambert, David Lambert, Scott Kleimann, Truman Hill and Ed Peters.
