Watson

Carol Ann Watson (nee Smith), 60, of San Marcos, went to be with the Lord on March 23, 2012. 

A memorial will be held at Hope Assembly of God Church in New Braunfels on Sunday, April 1 at 3:30 p.m. Private interment will take place at a later date at Pilgrim�s Rest Cemetery in Bellville. 

In life, Carol was a loving mother and �grammy�.   She was an extremely gifted artist and had a great love for music. She earned her undergraduate degree and her Masters of School Psychology from Texas State University. She loved animals, and was also a talented horticulturist. 

She is preceded in death by her father, Claude Smith.

Survivors include her mother Gladys Smith, brother Charles Smith and wife Annie of Bellville; son Jim Watson and wife Emily of San Marcos; daughter Wynn Sanchez and husband Abe of Stockdale, and grandchildren Tyler and Alayna Sanchez.  

Memorial contributions in Carol�s memory may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
