Welcome to the Austin County, TXGenWeb Project site!  My name is Jane Keppler and I am the County Coordinator for Austin County.  If you have an interest in helping to maintain this site, please email me.  I am looking for volunteers.

NOTE:  I only do transcribing and helping people with genealogical research.  I have nothing to do with the cemetery, so if you are looking for information on purchasing plots or rules and regulations of the cemetery, contact the caretaker or a local funeral home.

 

Sealy Schools

This was Sealy school built in 1903 on the South side of Main, between Atchison and Hardeman Streets.

 

 

This was the high school that later became the elementary school. 

 It was located on the north side of Main St. between Atchison and Hardeman Streets
