Keng Cemetery FindAGrave Narrative

 

Driving directions to cemetery:

From Giddings take N. Main St, Hwy 77, to Independence St, FM2440, Manheim Rd for 443 Ft, turn right onto CR113 for 1.9 mi, turn left onto Private Rd1134.  Cemetery on right on private property in grove of trees.  Stones are scattered.

KENG Cemetery

 

Keng Cemetery may have approximately one acre land dedicated and surveyed for designated cemetery, though, not fenced.  All grave markers are on ground with only foundations and small stones remain. 

FindAGrave lists 4 Keng graves.  However, Lee County Cemeteries Edition 1991, lists these 4 persons, plus the name Purcell (1871-1872). Also, old brick vault grave and 4 other grave possibilities (ground indentations & iris growing); no names or dates.  Information from Jan Conn and Steve Keng, September 1984.
