To preserve the history of old country cemeteries from being lost
the below was taken from LEE COUNTY TEXAS CEMETERIES Volume I.

These directions were taken in Oct 1979,
so they may not be completely accurate as of today, 2/18/2015.
About 11 miles east of Giddings. Turn north off
Highway 290 at Goerletz Lake on FM 180 for about 5 miles,
located on private property. There are no markers left. It
is said that at one time there were 30--40 graves, & it
believed this cemetery dates back to the days of slaves.
It is known that Jack ALCORN & his wife, Crease, were buried
there.
