Lloyd William Ludecke, Jr.

Lloyd William Ludecke, Jr. was born October 27, 1942 in Kansas City, Missouri  to Ethel Bernice Beeler Ludecke and the late Lloyd W. Ludecke, Sr. He died July 6, 2000 at the age of 57 years, after a long battle with cancer. His natural father died during World War II when he was 18 months old. The father of his heart, Walter M. Needels joined the family in 1945. The family left Kansas City and moved to McAllen, Texas in 1950. He graduated from McAllen High School in 1960 and then attended The University of Texas in Austin. He worked in banking all of his adult life, retiring from Wells Fargo Bank in 1998. Lloyd and Linda were married May 30, 1970 and celebrated 30 wonderful years together. He is survived by his parents, Walter M. Needels & Ethel B. Needels of McAllen, TX; wife, Linda Verbeck Ludecke of Shenandoah, TX; Daughters: Laura Gene Ludecke Morrison and husband Terry of Houston; and Teresa Linn Ludecke Faubion and husband Kirk of Cleveland, TX.; sister, Sue Ann Needels Lane of Atascacita, TX; grandchildren: Daniel Ross Morrison, Sarah Renae Morrison, Lindsay Paige Morrison of Houston, Tanner Logan Sarah Renae Morrison, Lindsay Paige Morrison of Houston, Tanner Logan Ludecke-Faubion, and Paxton Payge Ludecke-Faubion of Cleveland, TX. Brother-in-law Harry W. Verbeck, Jr. & Sisters-in-law: Bonnie Verbeck Collins and husband Joe, all of Cleveland, & Vicki Verbeck Clakley of Houston; many nieces, nephews and friends. Family visitation will be at Conroe Funeral Directors on July 7, 2000 from 5 to 8 PM. Graveside services will be held at 10 A.M. on July 8, 2000 at Brookside Cemetery, 13401 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX.
 

If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Montgomery County Memorial Library, Genealogy Department, 104  I-45 North, Conroe, TX. 77301 or a charity of your choice, in lieu of flowers.
 
We wish to thank Dr. Garrett R. Lynch and Dr. Carrol Cagle for all of their help and support during Lloyd's illness.
